AHL Rebrand #6

The final AHL rebrand is today!  For this post I made a full body model for all the jerseys, because this last week I've had a lot of time.  You won't normally see the full body template on my concepts, but sometimes you will.

I might take a break from the rebranding for a few weeks and just do random concepts, but I will end up getting to the CHL.  As I said a few posts ago, feel free to send in any CHL concepts, so I don't have to make as many.  Make sure to make a home and away and put them on a blank white template, so I can put them on my background as you see below.
These are based on the Pens old jerseys.  I re colored the logo to take out
the red, and I re colored the jersey to make it more modern.

I've seen a few concepts lately, with the Sharks in grey and I like it.  After
all, a shark is grey.  I think the teal works great with it too!  For the logo,
I used the word mark, just because their primary is too close to their
affiliate.

These are based on Anaheim's jerseys.  The striping kind of gives a
shooting star effect.  I used their alternate, also because it gives it
a different look than their affiliate.

I don't really know what a "Crunch" is, so I just made a random striping
pattern.  I think these jerseys would also work well with the Ducks.

Striping is based on the leafs, but I used 2 blues and made a trim on the
inside of the striping.  I also used shoulder yokes.  Usually my rule is to
use the colors in the logo, on the jersey.

AHL Rebrand #5

As some people might think, my concepts may seem a bit rushed.  If you guys start sending in concepts, I won't have to make as many, ergo they will be less rushed.  After this I am starting the CHL Rebrand, as you guys decided in the vote.  I will start with the WHL, so if you want to send in any WHL concepts, I will post them.  If you do send in any concepts, please put them on a blank white background with no writing or anything, so that I can put them on my concept background.

As I promised, I will have a special post because we reached 1000 views.  That post will probably be coming on the weekend, if not earlier.

But for now, I have the second last set of the AHL Rebrand.  If you ever want to look back at the other concepts, you can go to the labels on the side of the page and there will be NHL Rebrand and AHL Rebrand.
I based the away off of a concept by Brady at HJC, then
made a road version.

I think the Americans need a very "American Style jersey".
I think this concept implies that.

The away is the Hawks old third jersey, with hem stripes,
and a matching home.  I think this look suits the Icehogs.

Columbus' jerseys are very simple.  For their farm team, I
wanted the jerseys to look similar, but more complicated.

I tried a few times to make a jersey for this time, and finally
I came up with this.  I don't like it that much, but there are
some color schemes that I find hard to work with, and this
is one of them.

AHL Rebrand #4

As you may have noticed, I have changed the look of the site.  I was getting sick of the purple, it was a bit too much.  Also, I changed the background on my concepts, because the gradient background was a bit distracting, and this looks more professional.  We are almost at 1000 views!!  When we hit 1000, I will have a special post for you guys.

Oilers jersey, Barons colors.  I think this would be a good
move, as the Oilers jerseys are near perfect.

These are weird colors for a team, I know.  The 4 stripes
represent their 4 AHL division titles.

Usually, my rule is for the home and road to match, but the
only change is angled striping on the away.

I took their home, changed the hem stripes, and made a
matching road.  It's weird that there are 2 teams in the AHL
with the name Admirals.

These are basically St. Louis' old jerseys.  I extended the
yokes, to make it look more retro.

AHL Rebrand #3

As promised, here is my Sunday post.  This is the 3rd post for the AHL Rebrand.  What should be next after AHL?  It's between CHL and ECHL.  You can vote on the side of the page.  >>>

The more I look at this, the more it looks like a Devils
concept.  But, no it's an Aeros jersey.  Simple striping,
alternate logo.

The Bears are a historical team, who should have a classic
jersey, with a touch of modern.

The Griffins colors are hard to make a jersey with.  This was
made late at night, so sorry that it's so bad.

The Monsters are a weird team, because the colors on the
logo are different than the jersey.

This was my entry to the Portland Pirates Redesign Contest
at HJC.  I like outlining stripes with silver, it adds a shiny
kind of look.

Rylen sent this in to me.  I can see he's really starting to
improve!  I actually really like this one.  My only problems
are the outlined hem on the home, and the uncolored
collar.  Otherwise. great job!

AHL Rebrand #2

Today, I am posting my second AHL Rebrand post.  As you may have noticed, sometimes I like to connect a farm club more with their NHL affiliate, and sometimes I like to step away a bit from their parent club.  I do it whenever I think is suitable.  Please feel free to give your opinions in the comments section.  I always love feedback, even when it's negative.  My next post will probably be on Sunday.

These are based on the Canadien's home jersey, just blue is
the main color.  If you haven't figured it out, these are for the
Hamilton Bulldogs.

For the Checkers, I wanted to stick with the flag pattern
that their affiliate uses.  I made it sublimated, which seems
to be a popular idea.

Their jerseys are already very simple, but I wanted to step
away from their affiliate with different striping.

This looks a bit weird on a concept, but I think it would
look alright on the ice.  I think it suits the Connecticut
Whale.

I wanted to connect the Canucks farm team more, so I used
the Nucks alternate, made a matching road jersey, and used
the "Wolves" script logo.  I think farm teams should
generally have the same colors as their parent club.
Rylen sent in a Pens concept to me.  I like everything, except it looks like the lines on the yokes aren't evenly spaced, unless that was intentional.  Also, I think there should be a white yoke outline.  Otherwise, well done.

AHL Rebrand #1

I made this one just for fun.  It would be cool to see this on the ice.

Now that I am done the NHL rebrand, I will move on to the AHL.  Seeing as the AHL is the farm league of the NHL, the jerseys might be similar.  I will try to change things on the jerseys to make it more interesting.  When I am done the AHL, I will do the CHL, KHL, ECHL, or any leagues that you suggest.  After that, If I have enough followers I will start hosting competitions.  Thanks, Ryan for mentioning my site!
I think the Blues striping suits any team with the name "Devils".
It kind of looks there are horns on the shoulder yokes.  I also
used the Devils green subtly.

I used the alternate logo, and made it symmetrical.  Simple
striping, not much to explain.

The same as their current jersey, but without the weird
design on the sides.  Also, I used a more vibrant red.

I wanted the jerseys to resemble the Flyers, but not
completely.  So I added a cool design on the side that I think
suits the Phantoms.

These are the Islanders jerseys but with the Sound Tigers old
colors.
